River Rapids Socks

Socks, natch!
Pattern: River Rapids by Sockbug
Yarn: 2 skeins Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock, Devon colorway
Needles: Size 2 Addi’s, 2 circ style.

I lourrrrrrrve these socks. Their colors, the pattern, the whole shebang-they are on my feet now and they will stay there until I see fit to wash them. You know, about the time they start looking funky.
I don’t recall what heel was used on these socks. I went with the Eye of Partridge, same pattern as before. With these socks, I have learned. With them, I have discovered. All in the name of pursuing easy Sock Heels Without Holes techonology.

Do you know how hard it is to write tutorials? Basically, you have to explain something you do with your hands to people that have never met you and may come upon your blog by chance (and there are many that come here looking for heel hole help-no idea if I’m helping or making it worse-please feel free to say so, guys!). I have a tendancy (if you have been reading this for any length of time, and especially if you are the Stealmonster, then you are already quite familiar) to babble incoherently about things in a disorganized way. This is okay when I’m jotting things to myself. Probably not so much for you when you are looking for serious help. So, be aware that I understand. I’ll get back to such revisions.

Right after I finish watching Rome.

What? I’m only human.
